ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE


PRESS & PHOTOGRAPHERS


Accreditation is limited to maximum three representatives per editorial office (including local offices). From this number, only one photographer per office can be accredited. Their publication has to be published and sellable to the public to accept the accreditation. Automobile clubs and companies (competitors) publishing their publications only internally and also advertising agencies cannot be accredited as media! It is necessary to send documents listed in the following paragraph together with accreditation apply form. They are an inseparable part of the accreditation at the Barum Rally Zlín 2005 and so the accreditation won’t be accepted without them!

  1. Completed Accreditation form (all fields), signed by a publisher or editor-in-chief – separately for each applier.
  2. A copy of official press credentials (international card, Syndicate of Journalists of the Czech Republic, Sports Journalists
      Club, media etc.) of the particular applying person (an original of press credentials will be presented on accreditation).
  3. Copies of published articles on Barum Rally Zlín (possibly other motor events).
  4. Information about the publication (frequency, range, regional reach and so on).
  5. Original issue of the publication.
  6. Photographers will present minimum 10 published photos on motor sport from the period of 2004, possibly from this year.


RADIO, TELEVISION, VIDEO AND OTHER ELECTRONIC MEDIA


Granting accreditations for radio, television, video studios and other electronic media (internet) is fully decided by the organizer of the Barum Rally Zlín 2005 and the Press Relations Officer. It is necessary to send documents listed in the following paragraph together with accreditation apply form. They are an inseparable part of the accreditation at the Barum Rally Zlín 2005 and so the accreditation won’t be accepted without them.

 1. Accreditation form completed in all fields, signed by a publisher or editor-in-chief – separately for each applier (maximum number of persons in staff – five).
 2. A copy of official press credentials (international card, Syndicate of Journalists of the Czech Republic, Sports Journalists Club, media etc.) of the particular applying person (an original of press credentials will be presented on accreditation).
 3. A brief characteristics of the medium or company (broadcasting frequency, activities, province, range and so on).

Accreditation at Barum Rally Zlín 2005 is limited to maximum number of five representatives of a TV staff (from whom only three workers get the PHOTO/TV waistcoattwo representatives of Internet media (from whom only one gets the PHOTO/TV waistcoat)! Attention! Private (commercial) video studios are expected, according to an agreement with the organizer, to put logos of the main partners of Barum Rally Zlín 2005 into their recording, and to supply the organizer with eight pieces of videotapes gratis by one month after the competition. The accreditation of video studios is limited to maximum number of five representatives!

Every accredited participant is obliged to prove the publishing of the article with sending the copy of it till two weeks after the finish of the rally (monthly magazines up to 1 month). If he/she is not going to fulfil this condition, he/she will be denied from the accreditation in year 2006 regardless the other conditions fulfilment. Granting or/and rejecting of accreditation is fully decided by the rally organizer (Press Relations Officer) and also the number of accredited workers is limited by the size of the Press Centre and by the Safety Rules at competition tracks.

Photographers and cameramen from TV and video crews will obtain special waistcoats marked “PHOTO/TV” after leaving a deposit of 500 Czech Crowns during accreditation. Attention! All accredited media representatives have to be over 18 years (it has to be proven during accreditation on demand). The organiser take into account the list of journalists and photographers of FAS AČR who do not have to be accredited in advance and their accreditation will be treated positively.

The accreditation apply form and relevant documents should be sent solely by post (not via fax or e-mail) to the following address: ZLIN PRESS production, Šrámkova 349, 763 02 Zlín 4, Czech Republic. The accreditations’ receiving time begins on Friday, 1st July 2005, and closes on Tuesday, 9 August 2005. No more accreditation can be accepted after this date!
