Varity of the live “open air” musical performances, discos and attractions for children will be offered to spectators of 36th edition of the automotive competition Barum Rally Zlín as well as to city spectators by the 2nd edition of the official accompanying programme. 24 – 26 August 2006, Zlín´s squares will become the stages, where the groups Děda Mládek Illegal Band or revival formations of ABBA and Beatles will be seen. Children of the automotive fans can attend the “Day for families with children” with Maxim Turbulenc and other guests Events of the accompanying programme organised by production company PART agency, a.s. in co-operation with Rallye Zlín spol. s r.o., which is the part of a Rally included in the European Championship, are under the patronage of the mayor of the Statutory City of Zlín and of the governor of the Zlín Region.

3-day programme will start by the Open Concert Barum Rally Zlín 2006 in the square in front of the City Hall in the eve of the Barum rally, on Thursday, August 24, 2006. The moderator Martin Hrdinka will invite on the podium the groups Děda Mládek Illegal Band, Reflexy and Legendy se vrací at 6.30 p.m. This event is under the patronage of the mayor of the Statutory City of Zlín.

Global Assistance Mega Disco Show,, will take place under the patronage of the governor of the Zlín Region in revival spirit front of Velké kino the day after, on August 26, 2006. From 11.00 p.m., the biggest hits of popular world music will be reminded by formations ABBA and Beatles. The evening will finish by the fireworks, spectators can expect also a surprise for the end.

On August 26, 2006 at 12.00 o´clock the Show in front of Velke kino not only for families with children will take place. Spectators will see the performance of Maxim Turbulenc, group Infinity and Barbekjů, than acrobatic rock and roll exhibition – and especially for the youngest a lot of attractions will be prepared, e.g. F1 simulator, inflatable castles, chutes, etc.

„The public interest concerning last year premiere edition of the accompanying programme showed, that the connection of an elite automotive competition with a culture was a happy step, which will contribute to the more attractive stay of the fast-wheel fans in the city and will contribute to the prestige of both the Barum Rally Zlín and the city itself. It will be a logical continuing in the 2nd edition of the accompanying programme,” said Miloslav Regner, Clerk of the Course of the Barum Rally Zlín.
